Osiris is one of the more complicated myths. I tend to eschew these for the sheer difficulty of extracting the essence but I have Osiris conjunct my Sun, so I stuck with it. If there is ever a character who lives ten lifetimes in one, it is Osiris.
Osiris had a great interest in immortality. In one version of the myth, his was murdered and stuffed in a coffin. He died. His wife, brought him back to life using a magical spell. In another version of the myth, she brought him back to life so he could impregnate her with her son, Horus. After this he died. His evil brother Set found his body and chopped it into fourteen pieces. He scattered them across the land.
Isis’ heart was broken and she gathered the pieces for a proper burial. The gods were so impressed with the devotion of Isis that they made Osiris the god of the underworld.
What would one take from this myth? A man who had a devoted wife. Isis and Osiris are supposed to be paired asteroids that show up in the charts of soul mates.
What else could one extract from this myth to make it practical? Could one say the he evaded death and had many resurrections. What do you think? I will put it out there for comments. Where do you have it in the chart and what do you think? I eagerly await your comments, as always 
I dont have Osiris conjunct any major planets but I do have Isis conjunct my moon in the 3rd house.

wow. My Sun conj his Osir (1deg orb), my Moon conj his Isis (1deg orb), my Osir conj his south node(1.5deg orb), and my Osir also sextiles his moon (almost 2deg orb). But my Isis makes no special connections to his at all. So, would my planets making a connection to his asteroids asteroids affect him or me more. My assumption is that one’s planets would affect the other person’s asteroids than the asteroid person would affect the planet person. But, maybe I’m wrong!
Welcome, Shannon! I don’t think one can say asteroids aspecting planets are stronger or weaker for one of the other person. However, the asteroid orbs must be super close. I use up to 3 degrees in a conjunction but I was just researching and some people only use 1-2 degrees. The asteroid orbs must be super close but then the asteroids are super powerful, as powerful as planets and sometimes with EXACT orbs, more powerful imo
Osiris does not contact with my personal planets, but it conj my Sun/Moon Midpoint 4 degrees a bit wide Orb. How does this effect?

“O” died and came back. People were promised an afterlife if the had “faith” in his story.
People view this myth as simular to the to the “Christ myth.”
True, there were many lengendary figures simular to Christ. We have to weed all the imposters
from the REAL Jesus. That’s why faith and discerments ARE GIFTS from God Himself.

I think Osiris and Isis are the type of lovers that could never be together. They are only spiritually linked. they could be twinsouls. I don’t think I like to see them in charts, synastrically.

It reminds me of the book of Gomer in the OT. Gomer was a prostitute. She was loved by a man even though she was dirty and used. He loved her but she cheated on him again and again. It is the story of God’s love for us. I am so glad you wanted us to read a book together, B!

Ok Stephen King wrote a new book on time travel. I have it here someplace. A person who is not a King fan loved it and read it non stop. King is my absolute fave author. The Stand is my absolute fave book, so I think this one would be out of this world. Have you read much of Stephen King? I read everything through Misery. He started getting lazy with all his success imo. I mean, he started going kind of lame, for lack of a better word. I could not read the Dark Towers series.
