If one wants to do House Rulers, one should use equal houses. That way, each house has a sign on the cusp. There are 4 angles on the chart, the Ascendant, Descendant, IC, and MC. These are very sensitive personal points. Of all of these, the ASC is the most important when doing House Rulers.Now, I will start . We will use a person with a Scorpio ASC. This person’s Chart Ruler will be Pluto. The house in which Pluto resides is VERY important, as the chart ruler is the most important planet when doing House Rulers.
In our mythical chart, Pluto is in the 10th house. For this person, he will be very oriented to his place in society, his career and his reputation. Pluto in the 10th house will be a serious person about life, in the sense that he cares how he looks. He care how others perceive him. It would be an anathema for this Pluto to be in the underbelly of society. It is not good or bad.It is just how he was made.
I want to add something about House Rulers which can be very confusing. You do not look at the identity of planets. In other words, it could be a Pluto OR a Venus which goes in to the 10th house. It does not matter which for the perspective of House Rulers. It is all about the relationship between Houses. Planet identities do not matter. Are you with me, so far?
