not the other way around
I can be your pilot in this endeavor because I have dealt with some of the best.
There are some rules you must keep in mind. These are your foundations like the ABCs.If you slip on one, you may slip on them all and slide down the hill on your backside. That is just what the Gaslighter wants, so pay attention, please 😀
Hang onto your reality. The Gaslighter deals in the currency of making you unbalanced. Stick to what you know of yourself. Stick to what you know of life. Stick to your morals and values because that is what truly defines a person.
If you have flaws, that does not make you worthless. The Gaslighter will try to take your flaws and make you doubt your reality. You can have flaws and still value yourself. The more you accept your flaws, the less power the Gaslighter will have over you.
You have inherent value if every person in the world forsook you. Your value is in your relationship to God. The Gaslighter wants to make you feel worthless so he can control you.
You don’t need to put up with abuse from anyone. If it hurts over and over and over, it probably will not stop, barring a miracle. Sometimes, you need to walk away from the people you love the most.
The Gaslighter wants to hide. She works in the dark. If you want to get rid of her once and for all, bring her actions out into the light. Let her know that you will expose her and what she does. This is like putting garlic in front of a vampire. They want to keep their masks on, at all costs. They will sprint away from you and find someone not so savvy.
When you have her on the run, celebrate. You deserve it. You were David and went against Goliath, another monster.
Seven is always the magic number. If you fight a Gaslighter and win, you will have gotten a wonderful personal victory. You will have stayed strong in the midst of someone trying to make you weak. You will have survived and thrived. That will build your confidence and your true self esteem. I talk from my own experience, as I always do.
Some of my wise readers have asked why one should engage with a Gaslighter. One needs to learn her ways. It is a tool one can put away for a rainy day. After one has the tool under one’s belt, , one can walk away: more hardened, perhaps, but ready for the next time, if it should arise.
I think that after one sharpens his Gaslighter Fighting Tool, one needs to let it go. I am being consumed by hatred for this person. She represents many people, That is what happens when you hate( or love) The person can be a representation of people from your past. I need to let the hatred go. I made my point with her. I won but the victory does not feel as good as I expected. I am filled with hate. I need to pray for her because God tells us to pray for our enemies. Many of my wise readers were right. One needs to walk away and leave her behind–once and for all.
My epilogue to the Gaslighting Series is that one must not stare too long into the darkness, lest one become like the monsters. I learned how to fight back to one of the worst Gaslighters. I can do it again, when needed. Now, it is time to move on. Thank you for taking this journey with me. Your comments are, always, very welcomed.
