Let’s leave behind Asteroids for a bit and explore the recesses of our brain. What do you see in this ink blot?

An alien mom holding her two alien babies on each of her sides. Half of the babies arms r cut off
WOW, that is interesting, Kayla!
Two people are whispering into the middle persons ears.
I love that, CM!
First Unfiltered Thoughts:
1. turtle
2. snowman
3. man being choked
4. woman holding two babies
I had turtle, too, Alma!
I saw a person with a green, glowing heart chakra with two guides or angels supporting the person at either side.
That is very cool. Kristie!
I see a baby sitting on the ground with his raised fists clinched.
Interesting, Lon!
1st, I think of “insect”, a kind of small animal
then follow by two child sit, turn their face in the center
Interesting, too lol
Of course, there are those who think that inkblots are a bunch of “hogwash.”
I think inkblots are true. We superimpose our reality on them imo
Wonder what Casey Anthony would see.
Was she REALLY normal, or just plain evil? I think she was “contempary,”
which is just one reason among many others why I believe the days of this
country are numbered!
Casey Anthony and Jodi Arias. Two modern women with “boys” names.
(Another murderer was named Jordon Gramm, who pushed her newlywed
husband off a cliff.)
Girls behaving like boys. And boys behaving like girls. That’s what this
country is like today, and why women are sitting on a lot of anger.
You should listen to a song from the play “West Side Story,” “Gee Officer Krupkie.”
That was 57 years ago. The more things change, the more they stay the same!
I LOVE that song. I know all the West Side story songs by heart!
The only thing that history teaches us is that people learn nothing
from history!
Did you see the 2009 Broadway revival of West Side Story recorded on
U-Tube? There were changes from the 1962 movie. They tried to spruce
it up a bit.
My mother took me to Broadway to see the original play when it came out.
It must have been in the early 1960’s. I scarsely remember the experience.
I retain only snippets of the memory.
If you did see the play, what do you think of how the song “There’s A Place For
Us,” differs between the play and the movie?
In the play, a young child sings the song, and the cast members join hands.
In the movie, Tony and Maria sing the song to each other.
I think the film version was better. They refined the rough spots and trimmed
the film down. It won every award in sight.
I love the film version with Tony and Maria. I can’t remember if I saw the play. I am sure I did but I know the movie better because I listen to the songs on U Tube
Broadway is wonderful if they get it right.
So much great music originates there, like “The King And I.”
When I went to high school there were those segment of kids that wanted
to be “stars.” A person has to REALLY want it and be thick skinned. For
every one who really makes it, there have to be 1000’s of failures.
You have to have the right combination of charisma, the proper connenctions
(You might have to use the “casting couch”) and LUCK.
Of all the kids I knew in High School, only one kid made it to the movies.
It was a stupid 3rd rate movie funded by Mad Magazine called “Up The
Academy.” He was playing a complete jerk, and I think he used me, to
pattern his portrayal. I behaved like that in school, and he knew me.
That was his first AND LAST movie role!
Wow. yes, the same for musicians. My guitar teacher is as good as Clapton but he did not want to do what he needed to do to make it big.
There’s a lot of love and adulation if you make it “big.”
But that love and adulation can turn on a dime. The people think they
“made” you, so they can “break” you!
Very true, Lon!
