I don’t know about you but I was brought up to believe that life should be happy if only you did things right. How one did things right was a little tricky but there must be a way and I didn’t seem to know it. I seemed to be pulled back to the House of my Chiron, no matter how I tried to escape. That got me thinking that maybe there is no way to really do it right i.e have a so called happy life. Maybe, a happy life is dragging your baggage along after you like Pigpen with his cloud. Maybe, if you accept it, you can paradoxically be happy.
All this brings me back to Chiron. If any of you know my story, you will not be surprised to know that my Chiron is in the 4th house, the house of the mother. This is not the hardest Chiron placement, by far. The hardest one is conjunct the Ascendant, in my opinion. This is usually severe bullying. Chiron, by house, shows the area of our sorrow. We each have a Chiron, so we each have an area of deepest sorrow. For the newbies to Astrology, you can understand much about a person by simply looking at Chiron’s house. I like to offer easy ways to do the chart. Astrology is one of those subjects that can seem overwhelming. Many people give up right at the time that they would have gotten it, if they had pushed through. House Rulers is usually the place at which people give up. Back to Chiron. The aspects to Chiron mitigate it or exacerbate it. This is a very strong factor one must consider when one discussing Chiron. The aspects to Chiron show how you can USE Chiron. Use Chiron you must, as that is your way to ease your own suffering. You will feel a relief in your soul when you give to others from your Chiron wound. You will find that you have a gift. That gift is the ability to heal BECAUSE you were wounded, not in spite of it. This would be the magic of Chiron: an alchemy and that is always very special.
I will discuss aspects to Chiron in another article, as that will be a long study.

Help those who are repressed in their primal emotions and passions
Chiron in the 9th
Help those who want to find God, but can’t
Chiron in the 10th
Help those who feel they are outcasts from society and can never measure up to societal expectations
Chiron in the 11th
Help those who cannot find a way into a group, but stand on the sidelines
Chiron in the 12th
Help those who have pain so deep that only the spiritual and mystical will touch it.
