Do you converse with God, Ami?
I don’t mean to debate here. But I’m curious … how do you know if the voice is God’s voice and is not from your mind/head/ego?
This is a great question. I appreciate any question, if it is asked with a sincere desire to know( rather than a desire to drive me insane 🙂 ) This question fit the bill of the former. Hence, I will try to answer. First of all, I do hear God’s voice. Second of all, all of God’s children should hear His voice. In fact, hearing His voice is a sign that you are His child. Let me elaborate further.
One does not have a relationship with God if one does not have Jesus as one’s Lord and Savior. One may THINK one has a relationship with God. I may think I am 5’11’, but I am 5’6″. A person can fool himself to believe almost anything. In this case, he is fooling himself that he has a relationship with God. One must be Born Again to have a relationship with God. One cannot approach God directly. The human must connect with God through Jesus, the intermediary between God and man.
There are many verses in the Bible that tell us that we should be able to hear God’s voice. One must learn to listen to the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is the part of God who speaks to human beings. He speaks to their spirits. If one is not Born Again, the Holy Spirit does not reside in one’s spirit. Hence, one cannot really have an ongoing dialogue the way a Born Again person can. Before I was Born Again, I did hear the voice of God, but this may be the case because I was what is called ” a heir to salvation”. I really don’t know the exact answer to this. However, I do not that God’s children hear His voice.
We are supposed to hear His voice daily. He will lead us. One’s daily bread consists of hearing the voice of God. I hope I have answered that question.

I am a Christian (praise the Lord), but I struggle to trust that I will hear God. I’m so afraid that I will be misled by my own voice or some other spirit. I have Kassandra opposite Chiron. It’s very hard for me to trust that God can speak to me and that I will be able to hear Him rightly.
I think I’m going to do a Bible study tomorrow to look for the places where the Bible talks about prayer and the Holy Spirit. Thank you for sharing your experience. It’s encouraging 🙂
You hear God by being into the Word a lot.I hear Him a lot. I am in 4 hours a day. I try to be. Try to listen to Thurmon Srivner. He is amazing.

I have prayed so many times if astrology is not of God for Him to show me. I would have no problem letting this whole website go. I have so many interests. I would miss it cuz I love astrology and all the wonderful people I meet like you but if God did not want me to have it, I could not run away fast enough. It is hard when people say astrology is of the devil. I think it is a science. Modern medicine is more of the devil lol
