Anyone Have Chiron Conjunct the Moon at the MC Angle?

Someone I know is very sick, maybe dying. When I saw that he had Chiron conjunct the Moon and he told me his story, I was haunted. I will tell you and then I am interested in hearing the stories of anyone who has it. If you have Chiron conjunct another angle, please weigh in, too.

He was a very likeable kid. He went to school in a tough neighborhood but made it through his sense of humor and friendliness. He was on the football team and was a normal kid, shall we say. His mother had medical issues and then lost her limbs. He had to take care of her. He really, really loved her but, of course, it was hard.

He gained a lot of weight. He may have weighed 400-500 pounds. His mother died but it seemed, to me, that he never forgave himself for his resentment of her. This is my take. He did not tell me this. My take was that he had a death wish due to self hate for resenting her.

blue lip girl As I said, I got this intuitive feeling about the situation. He did not tell me he had resentment. He is not afraid to die. He has had many near death experiences. He says that living is the hard part. He is a totally amazing person, yet I wonder how much of a factor Chiron conjunct the MC played in his obesity and his illnesses.

Oh, I forgot tmo. Let me just talk about it here. I have not had that much experience with it but the little I have seems to show pain upon one’s drives such as for goals, career or even pursuing relationships. There may be pain with one’s maleness, too, as mars stands for the male icon.
The square would produce a separation of the drives from the pain i.e the drives may be blocked, from the pain. The trine would be a working together of one’s goals and one’s pain. One may use one’s pain to write a book etc, that kind of think.

The opposition would be a situation where the person feels great pain, then runs away from it. Then, feels it again and does the same, such that the person would be locked into this kind of a see-saw effect.

ok so the conjunct would be the worst for these two bodies? and what about any good things about the aspect ? the person will be able to reconstruct/heal his masculine side and develop a stronger mars? maybe taking judo or martial activities involving specific technique. something like the karate kid who got bullied and figured out how to defeat his enemies with technique.

    1. amiannamiann Post author

YES, the conjunction will always be the strongest aspect, no matter which planets we are dealing with, tmo. I will be honest as I always am. When a person has a super hard aspect like Chiron conjunct any personal planet such as the Moon, Venus,Mars or an angle, the ASC, MC etc, only God can make it better. Many people would differ with me and say take judo, etc. This cannot hurt but that deep down pain can only be taken away by God, imo and ime
Who has this aspect, tmo? What house?

        1. amiannamiann Post author

Are you male or female? What about the friend? It would be a harder thing in the 5th house as it would be played out in the area of romance and creativity. If it were a guy, he may be afraid to chase a woman in whom he is interested. He may be afraid to go after his creative interests because all this is part of his pain like in a lump, if you will. He may not be able to put words to it, but I bet it plays out. Does that seem to fit, tmo?

OK, I have no idea what transgender is. Say a guy is a heterosexual and then he says he is transgender. What does that mean? Does he have sex with men and women? Does it mean that the gender is amorphous in the sense that he is attracted to both. Thanks. I don’t mean to sound dumb but I don’t know and could not figure it our through the computer.

          2. amiannBiblea

My answer is straight to the point. I hope it doesnt disappoint you

“heterosexual” meaning that he likes the opposite gender, and he was born a male, so that is his preference. What he says is different from what he is. If anything, he is confused, and its a sad way to live.

          3. amiannamiann Post author

Ok, let me understand. If a guy says he is transgender, what does that mean, in practical terms? Is he attracted to men and woman? Does he want to ( or does) have sex with both?

          4. amiannBiblea

transgender meaning he had a sex change, so he is now female.
he does not need to be attracted to either sex. It’s just how he feels about himself. he did not get a sex change so as to get involved with a certain gender. it’s just if he was born male he feels like a femlae.

          5. amiannBiblea

if he is lucky, he gets a partner either male or female. He, being transgender, already does not give a flying hoot about “gender labels” so being gay or straight means way less to him than what you think.

    Hi !

I have Chiron conjunct my Moon and Jupiter at the MC, all in Cancer and I have never suffered obesity. On the contrary, I am pretty thin.

I am sincerely sorry for your friend.

    1. amiannamiann Post author

Welcome Enaid. How sweet of you to comment. You sound like a Cancer Moon like I am. I have Cancer Moon conj the MC, too, but no Chiron. Let me ask you some things. If Chiron is at the MC, pain will show to the world. Obesity is just one form of pain. There are many, many others. Do you feel you show pain to the world. Jupiter is there, too. My guess is that some form of pain shows to the world. What do you think?

      1. amiannEnaid

        You’re very welcome amiann!

No, on the contrary, I cannot show the world that I’m suffering and I don’t want to… I am to “proud” for that. Moon-Jupiter, for me, is all about optimism and “every thing will be ok”. But, my Cancer stellium is opposed to what is making me suffer: my Capricorn stellium (Uranus-Neptune-Saturn and Venus). It’s really horrendous. My pain is not obesity, but profound solitude even though there are many people around me.

          1. amiannEnaid

I am Scorpio with Libra rising. In my 2nd house in Scorpio, I have Mars-Pluto-Sun and Mercury in Scorpio sextile my Capricorn stellium in the 3rd. My stellium in Scorpio is trine the one in Cancer. In fact, my birth chart is pretty intense because it’s all about 3/4 signs. I know that I have to count on my Scorpio planets to help me. What do you think? Thanks in advance

I am trying to get a feel for your chart. You can post it in my Forum if you want. What seems strange( as in different to myself) is that I am a Libra rising with a Gemini Sun. We both have a cancer Moon conj the MC but you feel very private and I don’t. I share everything 😀

Now, my Chiron is not there, so that may make the difference. Also, that Scorpio stellium would be all about not sharing personal things on a societal level, so that is probably what is going on, I bet. If you wanted to post your chart, I could probably answer your questions much better and maybe see some other things, too. However, do what you are comfortable! xx

          3. amiannEnaid

That is very kind of you ! Yes, I am pretty private, although, when people know me, I open up more. Thanks for you offer, but I know my flaws…. I have to work on them.

      1. amiannferryleaf

Nope, I’m just bisexual. I like men and women. But I’m female, identify as female, look female, got all the necessary parts and none of the unnecessary…yatta yatta yatta. 🙂

      1. amiannferryleaf

        What explains what so well?

(And are you asking me “Any thoughts?” And about what? lol …I guess I’m just lost as many ways as a person can be. That happens with me, sometimes. 😛 )

          1. amiannferryleaf

            Ohhh. THAT I *don’t* know.

There has been much debate about whether or not one can see gender orientation, sexual orientation, etc. in birth charts.

It makes some people (I think gay people, more often) angry, I think, to suggest so. Personally, as a bi girl, I can’t understand why, myself. I think they fear persecution, maybe that’s why? -Like, if someone can look at your chart & find a ‘gay’ indicator, will they accuse you of being gay and treat you as if you are, even if you tell them you’re not? etc.

Some people say that you cannot see sexual or gender orientation in the birth chart, any more than you can look at a chart and tell whether it is a man’s or a woman’s.

Personally, I kind of think there will be chart…”hints.” Not cut & dried, but likelihoods. You know what I mean?

There was ONE theory that an astrologer or team of them came up with, that I looked at and found that it seemed to hold water a good deal of the time, but now I’m having trouble finding my link to that. 🙁 If I find it I will send it to you Ami.

Everything can be seen in the chart, all kinds of potentials. I may have deleted my post but a Cancer Moon female feels very natural as a woman, I think. I have always fit so well, as a woman. When I would see people struggle with their gender identity, I could not understand it from a personal, heart aspect. I could understand intellectually, but I think it is my Moon. I would say that the Moon would be key here, Ferry. What do you think?

An important point to note (referred to in that chart, but not elaborated on) is the term “intersex.”

This is a term for a physical condition.

It is the preferred term for what used to be called “hermaphrodite,” that is, having some physical traits (breasts, penis, vagina, clitoris, whatever) of both sexes.

People are born with both physical traits, in some manner or another.

Intersex people may or may not identify as one gender (‘male’ or ‘female’) or another, and may or may not be attracted to one sex (physical body type) or gender (masculine/feminine identification) or another.

As a Christian, one question I like to pose to other Christians who believe that there is a “right” and a “wrong” choice for sexual orientation if you are born male or female is:

What if you are born intersex? That is, you have both male and female outward, physical ‘sexual’ characteristics?

Some of these people feel that they are female, in their mind, and others that they were ‘meant’ to be male. And if given the choice to choose surgical alteration in their adulthood (rather than having a choice forced upon them surgically by their parents when they are young), many of these people choose to alter their physical bodies to conform to the gender that they feel they are, in their being/mind.

So, God made you. He made you with both male & female physical traits. Who, outside of you, knows what gender you feel like is the ‘real’ you, in your mind? Only you do.

And only you are accountable before only God. Is there a ‘right’ choice for you to pick, in which outward sexual presentation you will pick? Are you ‘supposed’ to be male or female? Are you ‘supposed’ to be attracted to only females, or only males?

This is why I don’t believe that any Christian should make outward moral judgments about others’ sexual orientations. Or assume that they are ‘sinning’ and will go to hell.

God knows the inner person. And I don’t think God is as simple-minded as we interpolate his Biblical rules out to make him to be.

And when I finally was unafraid enough to talk to God about my sexual orientation (as if He didn’t know, all that time!), all I met was love, acceptance, and compassion.

    John 9:1-3

1And as he passed, he saw a man blind from his mother’s womb. 2And his disciples asked him and they were saying,

I agree with you, I think that a Cancer moon would feel very natural as a woman. However, it should be noted that my former girlfriend was a Cancer moon, and was completely attracted to women. Not men at all (or not much, anyway – and certainly not romantically).

Personally I think that there are multiple factors in the chart that, like I said, can “hint” at it. But IMO they’re not definitive. Or at least, I’m not aware of any one, definitive one (indicator) yet.

I think the Sun and the Moon will play an effect. I also think Venus and Mars will. And I have seen enough to perhaps be persuaded that aspects to Uranus and/or Neptune have something to do with it.

I will send you a private message Ami with as many details as I can remember about the one theory I found that held the most water. I sure wish I could find/remember its link…*grumble*

**correction to add** I can’t say how my former gf felt about being a woman, necessarily. She would tell me that she wasn’t very “girly” –didn’t like wearing dresses, etc. really, and other things. That she didn’t *feel* super girly. But in many other ways, at least in my opinion, she was very feminine. Just not sure she would recognize that in herself.
