Is a Jewish Believer in Jesus Still Jewish?

The answer is a nuclear yes. Jewish believers will be more fervent for their heritage than traditional Jews, for the most part. I would take out Orthodox Jews, in this equation, as they are passionate about their heritage, too. The traditional Jews follow the Old Testament, but not the New. They believe Jesus was a great teacher, but not Divine. They are waiting for the Messiah. Messianic Jews are waiting for Him to come a second time. Messianic Jews are a fervent group. We are passionate about Israel and we are passionate to reach out to other Jewish people. We, Jews, are a family. We are unique in that we are a culture and a religion. We are not a race, as some people erroneously will refer to us . There are five races–white, black, yellow, red and brown. We, Jews, are in all of them. However, we are a religion, and a unique cultural group, as well. We do not celebrate Christmas and Easter, as these are not Biblical holidays. We celebrate the holidays in the Bible such as Purim, The Feast of Tabernacles, The Feast of Lights etc. You can look them up, if you are interested. Each Old Testament Holiday is a picture of Jesus. It is a fascinating study, if one is interested. If people are interested, I will do so. At any rate, Jewish believers have not given up their allegiance as Jews.In fact, it is much stronger . If you want to see a fervent Jewish person, find a Jewish believer and you will find one.
