The 6th house rules both service and health. People with strong Virgo may be overly critical, on one hand, and very helpful on the other. They like things to be done right, but they will be the first to pitch in and help. If you want adherence to rules and details, find your favorite Virgo. Dot your i’s and cross your t’s, if you want to make Virgo happy. Pluto in the 6th may shake up one’s work, if one’s work is of a practical service nature such as hair dresser, car mechanic or any of the many service occupations. Pluto in the 6th may indicate health shake ups, too. One of my friends with this placement had to deal with a rare genetic disease in 2 children, which resulted in both he and his wife donating kidneys. The 6th house is not an easy house in which to have planets. The difficulties are not so much emotional as is the 8th, or spiritual, as is the 12th. They difficulties are more of a mundane real world nature, as the 6th house deals with the realities of life in the every day world.
