Lets say that off the bat.It is like a serious father when compared to the Non Retrograde planet Picture a wise old owl. It is forced to be such.The Retrograde planet must go round and round in the matters of the planet before it can understand the domain of the planet. It may stay forever in the spiral, going round and round.One hopes it makes it out but I have seen many who seemed locked in a fun house from Hell caught in this loop. I have seen this with Venus Retrograde. However, Venus Retrograde may be the most apparent as the native seems unable to do what is needed to love and be loved.

The most important concept to remember with Retrograde planets is recycle. They go round and round trying to find the way out. When/if they do, they will be wise old owls. If they don’t, they seem locked in some nether place.
Hi! I love this site it’s so informative. I have a question. I have Nessus retrograde in my asc in gemmini, pluto retrograde in my 5th virgo, and uranus retrograde in 5 libra. Does this mean that I do not act on these impulses? I seem to attract partners who’s nessus is direct right on my asc:(. Any help will be appreciated.
Thank you, Catherine. I am delighted to have you here!Nessus on your ASC is a very personal placement cuz your ASC is very personal to you.Hence, nessus there may make you want to abuse. You do have choice but usually people have to play out these placements first. That goes for all of us. The Retro on Nessus could be good, as you say. It could hold you back. I never thought about Nessus Retro but it makes sense. Good call! Pluto Retro would hold you back, too, cuz primal impulses are recycled until they can be dealt with, so this is good for your Pluto with your Nessus conj the ASC. Thank you for your response:) I’m sorry my pluto is in the 5th but retrograde. What I think about Nessus retrograde is that even though the tendency to perhaps abuse, especially those who have hurt me, runs like a movie in my head, and along with it where it could lead which horrifies me, so looking at that picture I’m full of tolerance. My biggest problem is when others don’t hold back and come full force with the direct hostility of these planets almost face to face or in tight orb with my retros. The retros do offer a lot of restraint I think, I’m self contained despite my chart and overly cautious. I have however learned to stick up for myself, but it took a long time. I will post my chart.
