In this article, I will use planets and asteroids to answer the oft asked question, “Is he a Player?” A Player needs several kinds of planetary aspects to do his thing. Strangely enough, he needs a tenderness aspect. Who would want him if he were Shrek? He uses his tenderness as a lure. There will always be a tenderness aspect. One is a Water Ascendant. A Cancer Ascendant is the one I have seen most. Cancer is the sign of nurture. The Cancer Ascendant will disarm, as it is the Ascendant of all we hold dear: mother, food, home, love, chicken soup, old family photos. You get the picture. The player may have a Pisces Ascendant or a Scorpio Ascendant. I have seen Scorpio more than Pisces. Pisces Ascendants seem to have more of a conscience. The conscience in a true player is blunted. How could be use people if he had a sensitive compass for empathy? The Water Ascendant is one type of tenderness aspect only. I have seen Ceres placed prominently in the charts of Players. Ceres is THE most tender of any asteroid. Ceres is the mother of Prosperina. Ceres traveled the globe searching for her daughter. Ceres is a soul mate aspect in synastry. As I said, a Player who has any game and they all do must have a tenderness aspect.
Then, there are aspects for general charm. A Player must have some general charm, as well. The classic aspect for general charm is Moon trine Venus. “Sigh*. I love this aspect. I have a separate article on it. Venus trine moon loves woman, quite frankly. He had a mother he loved usually. He is in touch with his own feminine side. This man can be a best friend, as well as a lover. He will often get along with woman better than men. His group of friends will be woman, for the most part. This man could go shopping with you and help you pick out jeans. He is not embarrassed to do “womanly” things, as he has his own girly side firmly attached. He is not embarrassed to talk on the phone for hours, gossip with the best of them, and help you paint your nails. The whole time, he retains his masculinity. Quite a feat.
