Mars in the 12th House

Mars is the planet of action. It shows how we pursue what we pursue, whether it be a date, a job, or our side of an argument . The 12th house trumps any and all placements in the chart, for difficulty. Mars does not like to be in the 12th house .Mars likes to be where it can move forward in a direct way. Mars likes to take bold and decisive action. The 12th house trumps even the best Mars sign and renders this Mars very unhappy. Just as Mars loves to go forward to pursue a goal or say what is on it’s mind, the 12th house turns it inward. Mars wants to boldly shout it’s position, in an argument. The 12th house makes it reticent to make a peep. So, it becomes passive aggressive with it’s anger. Mars wants to pursue a woman. Mars in the 12th make Mars insecure and self doubting. Mars wants to pursue worldly goods. Mars in the 12th makes it procrastinate and second guess it’s motives. It may even give up, altogether. This Mars position is the same as the moon in the 12th house, in that it is like a child facing the wall in time-out. First, it has to turn itself around before it can even begin to get where it wants to go. If you know someone with this Mars position, know that they are struggling with a burden which may be mitigated but never totally overcome.

This is the most accurate and depressing Mars in 12th/pisces ive read. As a Sun in Pisces+Mars in Pisces th direct and selfish route to something is always blocked. The impulse to sacrifice everything you want or ever wanted is unbearably shit. Everyone else gets satisfied but me.

Thank you for your post, Peter. I can hear your angst. Please, come on my Forum, as I have a thread about 12th House planets, as well as many other subjects. I seem to be drawn to certain subjects and 12th house planets are one. Please, jump in. I would love to talk to you, and all my dear friends who would like to join. There is no charge, of course!

I can definitely vouch for this description. I have Mars in the 12th house in Taurus and I always feel like any task that I’m afraid to do or deem too difficult I try to avoid as much as I can. I would ignore the task and feel like taking a nap yet I didn’t do any strenuous activity beforehand! I think I procrastinate more than the average person my age(I’m 19). I also no my North Node is placed in the 6th house in Scorpio. So, I’m guessing my South Node is conjunct my mars placement. It’s very difficult for me to accomplish my goals, some I recently noticed are too idealistic to become reality.

Hi ami it’s kyla again… I would like to ask you how do you defend your profession of astrology to other christians? I am christian but have’t admitted to viewing astrology to anyone in my personal life.

          Hi Kyla
I am so glad you asked. Astrology is a science. It is a study of the electromagnetic energy of the Universe impinging on the human being. It is not spiritual, per se, one way or the other. For me, A voice woke me up in the middle of the night about 6 years ago and told me to study Astrology. I spent 3 weeks praying because I thought it may have been satan but I said I would go forward and see if I had a peace. I had a great peace. After that night, I have not watched any Tv or any movies, except Dinesh Di Souza’s lol I felt I was supposed to give all that up so I could have a purer heart for God. I did and I am so glad I did. My ministry is to the New Age people. I am a rare Born Again Christian in many New Age groups.

However, if a person is a traditional Christian, I do not talk about Astrology because they will not understand. My 2 closest friends are Born Again Christians and have no problem with it. I don’t go to an organized church. Church is when 2 or more are gathered together in My name.

Oh ok I see what you mean. I do have an easier time talking to other Christians on the internet who found out about real astrology though. The bible has verses that target astrology as bad though.. yet I remember that the wise men had used it to find Jesus. Did the wise men get punished for using astrology though? I cant remember…

No, witchcraft is not allowed. Astrology is not prohibited. The star that led the wise men to Jesus was thought to be a chart. I reach all sorts of people with Astrology and many ask me about Jesus. That is my purpose. The rest doesn’t really matter. I have my personal goals to have more confidence etc but the main goal of my life is to reach people for Jesus. Would I do this as much if I were a traditional church member?
