Simple Astrological Ways To Figure Yourself Out ( Without Therapy)—-Part Five–Pluto’s House

high spikesWhen I want to figure out Houses, I trust Chiron the most. The reason is that most people can point to THE most painful part of themselves. It is different for everyone but everyone does have a Chiron. If I want to refine the time of birth, I will look to the other planets. Each planet should fit in it’s House. The native should know in which each House each planet goes if an Astrologer asks the right questions. Some purists may think I am cheating but I have found my methods to work with actual  clients, so I trust them.

This brings me to the subject of Pluto’s House. I talk a lot about pain and abuse. This is because I know about these subjects, but I, also, know about power. We, all, do. For every person who won’t raise her voice  a peep, she has ONE place in which she is powerful. This will be the House of Pluto. I have Pluto in the 11th House. Before I knew anything about Astrology, the idea that I could be forced to go along with a group activity for reasons of  popularity terrified me.

When I went to college, I  shunned sororities. I never wanted to be in that place where I had so much group pressure that I was forced to conform. One of my most memorable times in college was watching the Milgrim Experiment. This  experiment was done to see how people reacted to authority i.e if people could buck authority when told to do something evil. It was designed to try to explain Nazi Germany. (Now, we don’t have to explain it because it is happening again with Israel, before our eyes, but that is another subject, which you can ask me about, if you want)

At any rate, I never can subordinate myself to groups. That is my Pluto in the 11th. I have been very wimpy in my life. I have not stood up countless, countless times when I should have. However, with groups, I have never been submerged. I say all this to explain Pluto’s House for you to look at your own charts.

Once again, if Pluto does not fit in it’s House, please re-check your birth time. All planets should fit in their houses if your time is right! I await your Comments about Pluto’s House for you!

Pluto in the 9th would be strong about God, your spiritual way of thinking and your intellect. You do not let yourself be pushed around here.

Thanks 🙂 and yes it’s true I don’t let anyone change my beliefs. And I read your article about pluto in 9th house and it’s so true. I had to move somewhere outside and it changed me so much. My mind is messed up now because I don’t know who I am anymore.

Hehe….I kill and destroy. To beat war you’ve got to become it…reflect its mirror-master it. Christianity is high on my list to fall. It already has, just doesn’t know it yet.

OK I have a good one for you: Pluto in the 9th house (late Virgo), tightly conjunct the asteroid Prey, conjunct Sun (Libra 1) by 4 degrees, and opposite Chiron on the IC. Oh, and 9th house Pluto, as well as Mercury/Mars/Lilith in mid-Virgo, are intercepted!

      Welcome Laura!
Let me just do the first line as my mind is getting discombobulated lol

Ok Pluto conj Sun is a super strong person. Pluto can protect what it touches so you may be protected when others want to make you prey. Chiron conj the IC would be a great deal of pain in the childhood home. I would guess that you got to be very strong as a direct result of this. Does that fit? xx

I have found myself in situations (esp. recently) where others wanted to make me prey and, yes, I did feel protected and able to overcome intense situations. Yes, pain in the childhood home, but not due to abuse, more due to divorce and alienation. My Cancer Moon in the 8th has made me sometimes too sympathetic/empathetic to those who would make me prey (sociopaths!), though! I wonder if the intercepted Pluto mutes or dulls its effects sometimes though? Or is it a see-saw pattern going on with strength (Sun/Pluto) and empathy (Cancer Moon in 8th)…
I am really enjoying your site. Thank you.

Thank you, Laura. You can post your chart if you want to ask questions where I would need a visual, such as about the intercepted houses. I really don’t know much about them, other than they can weaken planets but not more. To answer more of your original question, looking at a chart would help. You have to save your chart to a Photobucket and then paste up the image code. Thanks for being part of my site and your kind words. They made my day 😀

Pluto in the 9th house in scorpio at 7°31. I don’t know very much about this aspect…does this mean I am outspoken? Because I am outspoken and I stand my ground on what I believe…

Yes, Pluto in the 1st is a power position and the sign of a true leader but the person will have an intense vibe, for sure and more so when conj the ASC, as you have.
