We are on House 5, in our review. The 5th House is the House of all we create. We create music, art which are ruled by the 5th House. All hobbies and sports are ruled by the 5th House. Romance and fun are ruled by the 5th House, as are children, the creations of our body.
When Ruler of the 5th travels to a House and resides there–Think “Fun, Fun, Fun”. Again, this direction with House Rulers is, relatively, easy. I will give some examples.
R of the 5th in the 5th- The Ruler of a House IN a House, always, shows a House which will be a Life Theme for the native. The native will love creative pursuits, hobbies, fun and romance and children.
R of 5th in the 7th–The native will bring his need for fun and romance to his marriage, not look for it outside of the marriage, as an unfaithful spouse.
R of the 5th in the 8th–The native will take his needs for fun and enjoyment and delve into deep and taboo subjects. He may read detective novels. He may explore underground places, such as caves. He may be an archeology buff.
R of the 5th in the 9th–The native will find fun in intellectual pursuits such as astrology, philosophy,literature, international travel or studying about travel.
R of the 5th in the 4th–The native will have fun at home. His home will be his main place for fun.
R of the 5th in the 3rd–The native will have fun by communicating. He may love to joke. He may express his fun side by creating cartoons. He may be a comedian.
Cool site! Could you answer a question for me, please? I have Jupiter in Aquarius in the 5th, and its ruler is Capricorn. Saturn in Cancer in the tenth. Other than using sex to get ahead, what do you make of this?

Ruler of the 5th in the 10th. Your job will be where you have your fun. You may overwork as you may love what you do and feel great excitement in career. I would not say you will use sex to get ahead with this placement lol

I would love to be able to have fun in work, but I’ll have to change careers (librarian) first. I don’t know what I was thinking, lol. Maybe with Saturn in the house of status I thought I’d play on the safe side, but with Neptune transiting my 6th, I’m realizing that I tried to please other people instead of myself.
I work 5 days a week (8-9 hr days) with the public, and I find it so draining; creatively, spiritually and emotionally… affecting my health. I do my best to hide how unhappy I am, most of the time. And boring…OMG! I see the same people with the same questions with the same small-talk. I went to school for this and have loans to show for it.
The problem, I think, is I tried to get to know myself through my career, when I need to actually start at the Nadir. It’s hard to see clearly with Neptune there, I can tell you that much. I know my N Node is in the 4th, but I have a burning desire to have a fun-filled career and to connect with others as opposed to being a public servant, where I feel vulnerable. I’d love to work for myself one day, and be in control, and not have every word/movement scrutinized.
Maybe I’ll try meditation. I just have a feeling that Uranus has something to do with the type of career that will make me happy, if not give me some peace.
