The North Node shows that to which we must aspire. If you quake in your boots, at things, I bet they are NN things. The NN, by sign and by house, shows where we must jump off the diving board, in the deep end .For example, if your NN is in Sag, you must be bold and courageous. You must be willing to stretch, with travel, both in your body, your mind and your spirit. If the NN is in the second house, you must learn to conquer the physical, material world. You must be more organized with bills, domestic chores and things that make the world a livable place.
