People will hurt you because they have their own struggles. You may come in the middle of their struggles, and you will. If your hope is in people’s love of you, you will hurt, again and again. The human being is flawed and fragile. By the nature of man, this is the case. Think of the freedom of being above needing man to define you. We will always need human approval and human love. It is part of our nature. However, think of the freedom of knowing that God loves you,even if everyone turns on you. What a peace that would be.
