Personal Landmines in Your Natal Chart

This is my personal experience but it makes sense. Chiron is one’s place of wounding. Chiron cannot heal according to the myth. Some Astrologers like to gloss over this and say Chiron can heal. I take Astrology at face value. Life is not sanitized so why should we sanitize Astrology. It feels disrespectful of Astrology to do that. I honor and reverence the science of Astrology. As such, I think we do Astrology no service nor any clients when we try to paper over truths. That is the preface to the fact that Chiron’s wound will never heal. The most we can do with it is to use our pain to help others. That is Chiron’s transformation ability. That is also the lesson of the 12th House. However, we will carry our Chiron wound to our death.

Back to landmines in the chart. Consider a woman’s chart which has Chiron conjunct Pholus conjunct her name asteroid in the 4th House in the sign of Aquarius. You may rightly say “Ouch”. To those who do not understand these terms, I will explain. The fourth house is the house of the early home.It shows the feeling of your early home. Was it cold or warm? Loving or hostile? All this is shown by the fourth house. So, if we put Chiron into the fourth house, we have pain in the early home and with the mother who is represented by the fourth house . If we add Pholus, he will explode Chiron. This person explodes her pain. If we add her own name asteroid, we have an amazing phenomena which shows the unerring accuracy of Astrology. How can this be so? I don’t know. God is bigger than the charts.The story does not stop there in that her mother’s Aqua Sun conjunct mercury in an exact conjunction, conjunct her Chiron/Pholus name asteroid complex. Can we say “OUCH”. Yes, this child was molested by her mother.That brings me to landmines. This point in her chart will be a very sensitive point for her entire life. People can touch it for good or bad. She will feel it. I think Chiron may always be one of the most sensitive points in anyone’s chart.
