I will take an example of how we can use a House Ruler with Transiting Planets( planets coming by in the actual sky). Your Chart Ruler(Ruler of the 1st House) will, always, represent your physical body. Take that one thought and live and breathe it. That concept is the basis for using House Rulers. Using House Rulers is the difference between a Certified Nurse Assistant and a Brain Surgeon. Back to our example, when you do ANY chart, your Chart Ruler will represent your physical body.
Let’s talk about transits.A Transit chart is the natal chart compared to planets in the current skies. Here is a practical example of how you can use your current state of knowledge to aid your life.If you have a Scorpio Ascendant, your Chart Ruler is Pluto. Pluto will represent your physical body, no matter which kind of chart you do such as natal, transit or synastry. If one sees Transiting Mars, the planet of war, accidents and surgery conjunct your Pluto, you may be warned of possible unfortunate events. You could take more care with your driving. You could be more careful about accidents.
If one sees Transiting Venus conjunct one’s Chart Ruler, love may be coming one’s way. If one sees the Transiting Moon conjunct one’s Chart Ruler, warm emotions and bonding with others, may be coming one’s way. If one sees the Transiting Sun conjunct one’s Chart Ruler, ego strength and a confidence boost, may be coming one’s way. If one sees Transiting Pluto conjunct one’s Chart Ruler, one may have one’s primal passions shaken up. (Remember, in the world of House Rulers, the identity of the planet does not matter. One’s Chart Ruler could be Pluto, the Moon or Venus. The identity AS Chart Ruler is ALL that matters, when one uses House Rulers.)
